Time for a change

I had started this blog planning to write from an 'extreme distance', and not use the familiar style of writing. Obviously, this isn't working for me - 4 months between blog postings is not the hallmark of a healthy blog.

Starting today, this will become a much more personal blog - if no reason other than I think I'm frightening my family with my posts on our 'family blog', and have decided to post here instead.

I'm going to see United 93 tomorrow - it opened today. My thoughts on the film will follow.

If anyone other than me ever reads this blog, then I say 'Welcome!'
